Disable QR codes

This page assumes you already have a QR code created. If not, please follow the QR code creation guide first. During configuration, ensure you use the same QR code name as in the QR code creation automation.

When a QR code is no longer needed, you can disable it. Once disabled, scanning the QR code will not trigger any automation, and the user will see an error. If needed, the QR code can be re-enabled at any time.

There are two ways to configure an automation for disabling a QR code:

1. Configuration via pre-build recipe
2. Configuration via custom automation builder

To configure the automation you need to specify whether triggering it should disable or enable QR code and the Name of the QR code that should be affected.
