Ask for status after QR code scan

When QR code is scanned you can display a prompt for a status. The action is executed after status is selected. Status is then saved in the selected status column.

To configure this automation you need to specify a QR code Name and the status column.

After the QR code is scanned the user will see the following screen with the list of statuses based on available statuses in selected column: Ask for number screen

Clicking a status and confirming the action runs an automation, saving the status in selected status column.

Variations

There are two variations of this automation:

  1. Ask for status and save it when submitted – Described above.
  2. Ask for subitem status and save it when submitted [subitem] – This variation works similarly but sets a status in status column within a subitem. The QR code must be created in a subitem column. For more details, see the Subitems support page.
