Subitems support
QR Flow has limited support for subitems. However, you can create QR codes for subitems using specific automations designed for this purpose:
If a scan automation is configured for a subitem QR code, the action will be executed on the parent item, unless the automation is specifically designed for subitems (indicated by the [subitems] suffix).
Currently, there are two automation that directly supports subitems:
Ask for number
Ask for Number [subitems] – A variation of the “Ask for Number” automation that applies actions to a subitem number column instead of the parent item. Learn more about ask for number automation.
You can also find a different variation of “ask for number” automation - Ask for number and subitem automation. This automation allows you to change number for any selected subitem with one QR code (saved in parent item column)
Ask for status
Ask for subitem Status [subitems] – A variation of the “Ask for Status” automation that sets a status in subitem status column instead of the parent item. Learn more about ask for status automation.
