ProofNow supports a wide range of file formats. Most are previewed directly in the browser so reviewers can annotate them, while a few take part in the review as downloads. This page lists every supported extension by category.

These formats are rendered in the browser, so reviewers can view and annotate them directly.

These formats are converted to a previewable rendition so they can be reviewed and annotated, even if the browser can’t open the source file natively.

Download-only

These formats take part in the review workflow and stay downloadable, but don’t have an in-browser visual preview. Reviewers download the file, then leave their feedback as comments.

Uploading a file whose type isn’t listed here is blocked when creating a proof. If you need a format that’s missing, let us know and we’ll consider adding it.
